Helpdesk July 18, 2010 NHCC Forms

Because we are undergoing such rapid change and trying to steward our resources to their maximum potential, the purchasing policy of NHCC has been updated and a copy is attached.  The discretionary spending limit for ongoing budgeted items remains at $200 before a purchase order, also attached, is required.  This applies for credit card purchases as well, and we want all credit card purchases to be on College cards.  Please stop using your personal cards for College purchases as they won't be reimbursed in the future.

Purchase orders do require a certain amount of information from you and the vendor, but it is due diligence on our part to assure that we have researched the alternatives to find the product or service that provides the best return for the College's investment.

If there are particular issues for you or your department, please see me so that we can work them through.

We very much appreciate your discussing this with other staff in your departments, and passing on the PO form to them so that we get maximum participation and stewardship benefit with a minimum of paperwork.

We are excited to launch this new Help Desk website where NHCC staff, faculty and students can request help with I.T. problems, and also requests website changes or announcements. With this new system you will be able to:

  • Request I.T. Help
  • Submit Web requests
  • Check on the status of your requests
  • Get Tips & Tricks and other solutions in our self help section

If this is your first time here, please REGISTER now. Use your ebc.edu email address to register, and choose your own password.

We hope that this new system will greatly improve our service to everyone on campus.
